Since most of the products we initially launched were so close to being CLEAN, we decided to make them (and future products) CLEAN whenever possible. CLEAN has become a buzzword with different meanings, so we wanted to be specific with you on what it means to us. When you see a Pretty Vulgar product with a CLEAN symbol, it means we have formulated it without:

    • Talc: Asbestos free talc is ok. Brands need to conduct testing to ensure no contamination.

    • BHA/BHT: BHT threshold is 0.1%

    • Nanoparticles - size range 1 nm-100 nm; larger than this range ok
    • Petrolatum & Parrafin - *PAH-free white petrolatum USP ok
    • Phenoxyethanol- under 1% ok
